Grief Counselling Therapy
Human beings have a tendency to make strong affectionate bonds or attachments with
others. When these bonds are severed, as they are in death or divorce, a strong
emotional reaction occurs. The pain suffered by families and individuals of all
ages that have experienced the loss of a loved one through death or divorce can
be indescribable. Most of the support that people receive after a loss comes from
friends and family, but therapists and doctors can identify and orchestrate mechanisms
for support and healing and make an important difference. CPT counsellors are trained
to support the process of grief in a caring, understanding, and creative environment.
